Family Law, Litigation, Mediation
I have worked with Johnathan Minga for years. Frequently we were on opposite sides of a family law case, but I have also used him as a mediator in order to settle cases and worked alongside him on general sessions criminal matters. I can attest to the fact that Johnathan Minga is competent, a zealous advocate and – at all times – maintains a respectful demeanor. His civility and calm in hotly contested cases extends to his client, the other attorney, the other party, the court, court reporters, clerks and everyone associated with the judicial process. I cannot think of traits more highly desired in a judge than those that Johnathan Minga possesses naturally.

Civil Litigation, Insurance Defense
I have known Johnathan both professionally and personally for many years and I can say that no one would make a better General Sessions Court Judge than Johnathan. He is intelligent, insightful, a hard worker, and a genuinely caring and compassionate person. Above all, his integrity is of the highest level. He has everything you could ever want in a judge.

We encourage you to vote for our friend Johnathan Minga, who cares about the role the Sessions Court plays in our judicial system. Don’t miss the opportunity to vote for Johnathan, if you can!

I have known Johnathan Minga well before our legal careers began. Johnathan is a man of honesty, integrity, and sound judgement. I cannot think of a better person to serve the people of Washington County.”

Johnathan has vast experience in juvenile, civil and criminal matters that are essential to the daily duties of a General Sessions Court Judge. As a trained mediator he is skilled at evaluating both sides of any issue from a place of neutrality. He is community-focused and will make an excellent Judge that treats everyone fairly.
I have known Johnathan Minga since he was a student at ETSU. He began working for my husband, Mark Slagle, while attending law school. After graduating and passing the bar exam, he immediately went to work for Mark. Johnathan is a fine attorney. He has a good sense of humor, self-discipline, and varied interests outside the law. He loves his family and is a good husband and father.
Please vote for him.

Occasionally, we have the privilege of knowing someone whose sheer presence in life makes the world brighter – and whose character alone makes us have a bit more faith in the future and betterment of tomorrow. I do realize it’s a rare and special occurrence, without question. But I am grateful to say that I have been fortunate enough to meet one of these folks, and that person is Johnathan Minga.
He is exceptionally intelligent, upstanding, humble, honorable, honest, kind, compassionate, and just. I’ve had the unique opportunity of knowing Johnathan in many capacities – as an acquaintance, colleague, boss, and mentor. He is consistent. He has the grit for outstanding judicial service. He has the persistent integrity to do the right thing. The strength to power through the tough cases and hours. The intellect and knowledge to understand the breadth of cases he’ll face. The ability to restore faith in the judicial system.
Johnathan is unequivocally qualified and unquestionably the person you want serving in the capacity of General Sessions Judge. He has my enthusiastic endorsement and support.

Johnathan is my next-door neighbor. I could speak to his intelligence, judgement, honesty, and many other characteristics he possesses that meet the expectations of a judge. However, it’s his genuine love for his community and family that earns our unquestionable vote. Johnathan doesn’t just coach our son and others in sports, he encourages these kids to be the absolute best version of themselves they can be. He doesn’t just give my son a ride to school, he is the type of person that’s reviewing spelling words with him before his big test. He’s the guy gathering the neighborhood friends for a game of backyard baseball. He isn’t just involved in the community, he is passionate and genuine about serving it. I trust Johnathan will be honest, fair, and compassionate because of how much he loves the people he will serve.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Johnathan Minga since we were both attending ETSU. Not only is Johnathan a good friend, he is a loving family man, father, devoted husband, and well respected businessman. Johnathan still always finds time to volunteer to coordinate and coach youth sports and donate his time serving many other charitable organizations. Needless to say, he truly cares about his community and others in it. My family and I cannot think of anyone more suited and well prepared to represent our community as the next General Sessions Court Judge.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Johnathan Minga for 14 years. I met Johnathan as he was starting his career and his family. He is one of the most caring, intelligent, honest and loyal individuals I have had the privilege of having in my life. He loves his beautiful family, God and friends. He always lends a helping hand to anyone in need. His career as an attorney has enabled him to gain the knowledge and the experience we need serving this community as General Sessions Court Judge. A vote for Johnathan will ensure our rights are protected under the constitution. Please cast your vote for him.
